A skin biopsy is a procedure in which our Practitioner removes a small sample of skin to have it tested. This sample may help your practitioner diagnose diseases such as skin cancer, infection, or other skin disorders. A referral is not required for a biopsy and Kelly our Nurse Practitioner can treat or refer you to a specialist if required following the biopsy. You should expect a small scar from the biopsy and scar management advice will be given for the best aesthetic outcomes.
